My Trip to Liverpool

Woof! I'm going on another flight with my Mammy!

Woof and a big wag of my tail!

Mammy has taken me off to the airport with her. I'm flying over to Liverpool, Daddy's favourite city as a training trip before I go to Lanzarote at Easter with my family.

I have my own pet passport to travel which details my weight, my ID tag and my training with AADI.  As I am a fully trained and certified assistance dog I get to curl up in the cabin at my Mammy's feet.

Dublin Airport were fantastic with me and my Mammy. We got fast tracked through security with their Special Assistance programme and brought right down to the gate. Before flying there is a special area in Dublin airport for me to toilet. The area is used by all assistant dogs and police dogs. There were photos of loads of dogs on the walls who I was hoping to meet and be friends with.

Aer Lingus were wonderful and made sure I had space to relax at the front of the plane.

When we arrived in Liverpool, John Lennon Airport we were given VIP treatment and eventually got to the hotel. Premier Inn treated me well as did all the bus services in Liverpool. Mammy loved taking photos of me at different buildings one with 2 big birds on the top which is special to Daddy, as he is a big Liverpool supporter and I have to listen to him when a football match is on.

Mammy also took me into the Pump House at Albert Docks which is a tradition for Daddy every time he is in Liverpool to have a pint there so Mammy kept up the tradition.

Looking forward to getting home and seeing my Daddy and Ciarán and Róisín tomorrow.
